Schools and Centers

The Academic Orientations Project has worked with many different departments at UC Santa Cruz, administrators, residential colleges, and local high schools. AOP has worked with these schools and centers to interview participants, collect data, and present findings. If you think you or your school is interested in getting involved with AOP, please email Talia Waltzer directly at twaltzer@ucsc.edu.

Here are some of the schools and centers we have collaborated with:

  • The Jack Baskin School of Engineering at UC Santa Cruz
  • The Division of Social Sciences at UC Santa Cruz
  • The Division of Student Success at UC Santa Cruz
  • The Center for Innovations in Teaching and Learning at UC Santa Cruz
  • Local high schools in the SF Bay Area and larger Monterey County
  • The Chancellor’s Office at UC Santa Cruz
  • The Provost at UC Santa Cruz
  • The residential colleges at UC Santa Cruz

Researchers

AOP has many ongoing projects with researchers at universities across the United States. AOP takes an interdisciplinary approach to research and we are always looking to collaborate with people in different fields as well (philosophy, education, sociology)!
